Because they're a threat to the US... well not really.   Because the US is debt free and we have all the money in the world to spend on another "war"?  No.

Because we think we're the world's police?  Probably.

Maybe because we want them to stop sponsoring terrorist attacks all over the world?  Maybe because we don't want them supplying a suitcase nuke to be delivered to NY City?  Maybe because they are threatening to close down the sea lanes and disrupt the world's energy supply?

And which person are we going to kill, as part of this campaign, that is going to prevent terror attacks? Who specifically are we targeting?

Who has suggested killing one specific person?  Deterrence, and showing a will to defend the region and free trade, seems to be what we are doing.

So, who are we fighting against or is this just an indefinite, money wasting war against an ideology that will never, ever, ever go away?

DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

Jane Fonda II can do what he wants. He's going to say he's doing his civic duty.

Did someone suggest we were targeting some person ?

We're not making war on Iran.  We're simply boycotting them and boycotting those that prefer to trade with them rather than us.  Not incidentally, Iran has been killing Americans for years in Iraq.

In other news, our worthless NATO "ally" Spain withdrew their one warship accompanying the U.S. fleet near Iran. I have to wonder if any of our so-called "allies" have any warships in the area to support us.

If we commit 120,000 troops, what would you call it?

Well, if Iran is going to take military action against us because of our sanctions, then what other choice do we have?  Do you believe that we should allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapons capability?
