I think Barcelona would be my favorite European city that I've visited. I like Lyon also.
We did a lot of walking in Barcelona.

The food choices in other countries tend to diminish my desire to travel to them.....lamb belly? seriously? who eats that?
Speaking of Arizona, we took a great side trip out of Winslow, down 87 thru the Tonto Mountains(Louis L'Amour wrote about this area) to Tonto natural bridge State Park. Beautiful area and vast changes in temp and surroundings. back up to Camp Verde, over to 89A and up another fantastic drive(2 lane) with beautiful terrain.

Bacon is pork belly. I'd eat it mmmmmmm
I've been to 3 countries in Europe for 2 weeks so I can't say I've stayed there long enough to really experience great food.  What we had was ok. I had fish and chips in London and it was really good.  Had some of those tiny chickens and potatoes in Paris.  Pretty good with couple of other meals. Rome I had some of their pizza.  VERY thin and with an egg in the center. Had some gelato in rome and it's good. Pasta was good.  Can't really say anything beats what my lovely wife cooks or the beer I buy here.

Iâ€d never had lamb belly but I thought Iâ€d try. Given that this restaurantâ€smenu had three appetizers, five entrees and three desserts only, what was I going to do? I still prefer pork belly.

AZ is road trip heaven. Zane Gray had a cabin there near Payson but it was lost in a forest fire. He wrote about the Pleasant Valley war in N. Arizona.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better drive than the one between Sedona and Flagstaff in the fall when the leaves are changing.

Guardsmans Pass in Utah in the fall.

Might be the prettiest scenery I've seen in the 48 states outside an NP. Maybe inside too.

I was thrilled to drive up through Sedona and on to the Williams for Grand Canyon train.  Really made the trip for us back in March.  Told my wife if I'm going out there for spring Training I'm also going up to that area. It was a long drive up and back but it was great.
Getting ready to book my last trip of 2019: Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Michigan. Going to see the Pirates then go up to get some beer at Great Lakes Brewery and then up to the upper Peninsula of Michigan.

I'm not into fishing, but I'd definitely throw on some waders if that was the view.Â
