Interesting how this all sounds political to some of you. Powerful people wield their power regardless of their political views. 

Funny you should say this as Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have come out and said that the "President owes answers on this issue".....and are calling for Labor Secretary to step down.....

Yet it's not political.

Trump is in power now. If Bill Clinton were in power, I hope they would be calling for answers from him too. I certainly would. I hope people ask Clinton hard questions, AND everyone else who hobnobbed with the creep.

Sure, politicians will try and use anything they can politically, but this labor secretary should resign, and that would be true no matter who he worked for. He made the sweetheart deal for a serial abuser possible. That is how evil and corruption work: people go along with it.

Interesting how this all sounds political to some of you. Powerful people wield their power regardless of their political views. The girls were trafficked, groomed, tricked, etc. Sometimes their own parents were involved. Somethings they were vulnerable or trafficked. There is no shortage of vulnerable young women and girls.

What happened to the owner of the Pats? Just curious. It seems like he was in for it too until a judge gave him a pretty friendly decision. Wasn't he abusing trafficked women?

Clinton and Trump are well known for abusing women, but neither may have participated in what this *sshole did, even though both hobnobbed with him. Alan Dershowitz may or may not have taken part, but he has lost all credibility on issues like this. He too was a friend.

Epstein is going to get fried this time. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Can you link where Trump ABUSED women?   There have been some silly allegations that proved false sorta in the line of Kavanaugh BS.   NOTHING compares to clinton with Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick and of course Monica Lewinsky, a subordinate.

Trump abused women many times. First, he bragged about it. Second, MANY women (20+) who are credible, have accused him of abusing women. Third, many people have commented about things they saw him do along those lines, like barging into the dressing rooms of pageants to see the young women unclothed.

I would never vote for either guy, knowing what I know about them. It's time for us to stop overlooking these things and expect more from our leaders.

That is not my take on James.

Anyway, I hope whoever was involved in this gets some serious punishment, enough to send a message.  If the Labor Secretary did something wrong, same with him (I don't believe he was involved with the acts just the plea.)

Were his actions related to the plea bargain clearly wrong?  I don't know.

Acosta needs to resign simply to remove that story from the Cabinet. There are rumors he was essentially told to stand down and allow the deal. Either way, he needs to go.

Epstein (and every single lawfully convicted chi-mo) needs to have their head removed from their body. Whether a Prince, a President or a garbage man, treat them all the same and put them to sleep. If people took consequences seriously we'd see a dramatic reduction in criminal offenses across the board.

8 years of Clinton being in office....."Character doesn't matter" and "It's the economy stupid" as campaign slogans......and the like tell us that Democrats only care about morals when it is a Republican in power.  Selective outrage at its best.  The fact that the Democratic Governor of Virginia is still in office.  That the Lt. Governor is going to run for higher office BASED ON the accusations("people now recognize me and walk up to me in public") tells us that the selective outrage is clear and present.
