Images of the incarcerated for the death of Lincoln and their execution.

You have got to see the artifacts from the Lincoln assassination and the rail car that took him BACK to Springfield, Illinois and his grave.

And how it played out..

You simply use the suns gravitational force as a slingshot.  Takes you back to whenever you would like.  Works every time I have seen it tried.

I still am amazed that Einstein via thought experiments developed the concept to let the speed of light be a constant and thus the passage of time to be a variable.

It's both simple and very nonintuitive, but it resolves a lot of "issues".

I'm amazed that someone back in the day figured out the speed of light beyond instant.

I remember Burger Chef and Jeff.  I think the last time I was in one was circa 1974.  McDonalds came into town that year and that was pretty much the end of that.

Same thing happened in my area. As soon as McDonald's came to town it was adios to the local places.

I can count on both hands the number of times I have eaten at McDonald's - 7. Last time was in 1983. Same with drinking soda. Growing up it used to be considered a treat to eat at McDonald's.

Here are the prices the last time I ate at McDonald's.

That brings back a lot of memories Zig.  That was my era too. I would personally add messing around in the creek behind the local elementary school as well as all the tomfoolery I pulled on the railroad tracks behind our house. Last time I was in Columbus  I stopped at my old house which I had moved out of in 1965. Nobody was home. I just wanted to give them a little history of the house and what the backyard used to look like as it has changed dramatically. I did take a walk on the railroad tracks, where we practically lived in the summertime. I even found some taconite pellets which were our slingshot ammo.  Best free ammo that money could not buy. we used to walk to the McDonaldâ€s over near Olentangy and Ackerman. Hamburgers were $.15, fries were $.12. This was before 315 was even built. It now runs along side those railroad tracks.   Good times being a kid in that carefree era.
