I think the Browns next year if the PlayBaker stays healthy can win 10-11 games.  BUT, I can also see the above which is 12 wins.   You can scoff at it or bring up the past etc but you cannot disregard the talent they have accumulated.  Browns have a very talented team will improve it this summer.  Ravens and Browns will play for the division.   Steelers are in a downfall.  Bengals have some talent but not as much as Cleveland.

With the other teams in transition, the Browns could compete to win their division.  How the Ravens do is going to be based on the development of Lamar Jackson.  They were limited in what they could do with him and until he learns how to efficiently run a complex offense and make faster decisions, they will depend on their defense.

Need to shore up their linebacking core and pick up some wide receivers that can make plays. Jarvis isn't a #1. Wouldn't mind seeing them pick up another RB that can run between the tackles, Duke is more of a scat back.

best - 12-4; worst 7-9

So....their floor is now their result from the 2018 season? Even with an unproven head coach?

Da Browns appear able to more or less split games with other mediocre teams they play.

If every opponent were similarly mediocre, they'd finish 8-8, or more often either 9-7 or 7-9. Of course if they play a good team, the loss potential is higher, and the reverse is also the case.

I see a lot of mediocre teams in the NFL. By chance, a few will finish 10-6 and make the playoffs and some will be 6-10 with very similar talent levels.

The only bet I would make/take is your 12-4 bet. No way the Browns are winning 12 games. They lose to Pitt in PA, Ravens in MD, Pats in MA, Seahawks in OH so they just have to lose 1 more to win that bet.

I'm not saying for sure they go 12-4, if you read it I said possible.  Are you saying for sure 6-10?  You've moved from 2 wins to now six.  I'll bet they go no less than 8-8 for sure.

The knock on Kitchens when he was named the OC... he hadn't called plays in a game.
The offense performed very well with him calling plays. They went 4-2 (after bye week).

Sure.  No argument there.

That doesn't mean the next jump is as clean and certain.  I'm not arguing that he will fail, as I don't follow it close enough, but it's odd to me that the threshold is now set at their best record in 5 years.....with a guy who has never been a HC before.

It definitely appears that they are headed in the right direction, Dorsey specifically seems to be the first FO person with an actual workable plan.....

My 2 loss post was sarcasm. A carry over from the last NH. BG7 got it.

I don't see the Browns winning 12 games. That's a 100% for sure. I'm guessing 5 or 6 wins. It depends on the Broncos/Dolphins games. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with wins against both.

Texas won 11 and KC won 12.   Not saying Browns will do it but IF they add to the team this summer FA that will be impact they have a shot.  They have LOT of cap space.     They are going to win more than 5-6 and I'll bet on that.
