As a person, I thought NPB was a nice guy. As a moderator, I didn't agree with his philosophy on moderating, particularly as it pertained to the old Nut House. AMSS was a nice guy, but I also didn't agree with his "moderating" style and was quite outspoken about it. In fact, I left the Nut House for several years because of their "moderating". I had started a thread about a cop that went up and shot a barking Labrador that was tied to a fence and posed ZERO danger. That thread was deleted even before it got started and with no explanation. And then I started a threat asking why some non-Catholic believers believe that the Pope and the Catholic Church would be involved with the "anti-Christ" in the end times. Again, deleted and no explanation.  I appealed to both NPB and AMSS and was utterly ignored. I left.  To me, a "moderator" on a DISCUSSION FORUM is supposed to engender discussion, keep the discussion on-topic and make sure that the rules are followed. Some so-called "moderators" become like little Mussolini's, running around and deleting everything in sight. Guys that do that are insecure and, usually, too stupid to be a moderator.  NPB and AMSS were/are good guys, but not good moderators, in my opinion.

Zig, when we were little children, we could argue with one another and then be best friends again 2 minutes later. As adults, it's harder to forgive. It should be the other way around. As we age, we should become wiser and more forgiving of one another. I dare say that those who are unable to forgive will not enter Heaven until they learn to do so, but I suppose that's another thread.
