Heterosexuality being instinctual doesn't prove that homosexuality is not a choice.

Heterosexuality is a biological instinct necessary for the perpetuation of the species. Homosexuality isn't.

Thus the "two sides of the same coin" argument presented in the tired "when did you choose to be straight?" cliche is patently ridiculous.

Most guys who wind up gay were sexually abused as kids. So not a choice, but certainly not "natural." 
The comparisons of homosexuality to our biological reproductive instincts as if they are both one in the same is absurd. There is no biological reproductive advantage that can possibly be gained through homosexuality. In fact it makes it nearly impossible for a fella to pass their genes onto the next generation.

The article says clearly that a disposition to homosexuality is some complicated combination of heredity and environment.  Folks looking for some simplistic answer should try elsewhere.

That there is no possible reproductive advantage is obviously untrue. Otherwise it wouldnâ€t exist. Clearly it does. The reasons why are complex and likely will never be understood by the Archie Bunkers of the world.

Some think the Tiger I was over rated.  It was pretty fearsome when first introduced in late 1942, but by 1944-45 it was not nearly as capable relatively, and they were prone to "mechanical difficulties" and fuel shortages of course.  The Panther on balance was a better tank once the initial issues were mostly sorted out.  It of course was designed to counter the T-34/76, which in 1942 was both fearsome AND numerous (by 1943 anyway).

It's interesting to see a line up of Panzers from I all the way to VI in a row in a museum, 1933 to 1942 armor advancements.
