I actually think it is more likely that Democrats win the Senate than the White House in 2020. However if Democrats sweep, which is possible, you will see panic buying immediately afterward unlike anything previously.
Trump WILL NOT be reelected.Â
If the R's also lose the Senate there will be some chaos.
Buy now. November 2020 isn't the time to be trying to stock up. Why stock up on something that is going to be confiscated?

Maybe you underestimate the backlash?
Or maybe it's just a good idea to be ready for the boogaloo

The sheriffs in each county already know who are the ones holding the majority of the NFA equipment, they're the ones who had to sign off on it in the first place.
Those sheriffs aren't going to get in the middle of a Dem/Rep fight in Congress, they're too smart/rational for that.
IF the feds decide confiscation is the solution, it's will likely result in a lot of dead men one way or the other.

I carry everywhere regardless of any lame "no firearms" signs. (with the exception of schools and gov. buildings, of course.)
I do, too. The local casino we meet up with friends posts signs all over claiming it's illegal to possess a firearm in the casino. Maybe on Saturn. PA put the kibosh on that law several years ago. I carry each time we go. Pity the fool who thinks I'm going to stand up, raise my hands over my head and yell 'Help. Security'. That is what the woman told me the protocol is. I laughed.
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

I don't think there will be confiscation. They won't have to. If they make something illegal and you try to use it, even to save your own life, they will put you in prison for 20 years.

You give the American people too much credit. I see the masses willingly turning in their weapons.

Further proving my point.

Some articles I've seen suggest NZ is not turning in their semi-autos.

They aren't, it's not a suggestion.
Why would they?
If these losers wanted to save lives, they'd ban fat people from going to fast food establishments, don't ***** on the Constitution for 300+ million people to save a few each year. Beyond that, maybe actually enforce the laws already on the books.

I think a big part of this is Walmart is making decisions based on what the future in America looks like. I do agree with Syncro that once the Democrat commies take over, there will be more liabilities attached to businesses associated with guns and even ammo. But there is more to it. The demographic of the average Walmart customer is changing rapidly and will continue to change. Walmart knows it better than anyone.  The Walmart I go to most of the time now looks more like a third world country and I don't think that is unique to my store. Those people care little about ammo or hunting, fishing and shooting.  This is just another taste of how life is going to be in our wonderful diverse multicultural America. You are being replaced. Enjoy the ride.

I've got 5 Dillon 1050's, I'll make my own ammo forever.
The feds are welcome to come confiscate them if they need...
