"Multicultural"meaning Christian's who want to force their religion into others' lives vs those who want a religion-neutral public sector.
How is Christianity forced into others' lives?
An example would be, if Christian's had their way, a public school day would still be started with a CHRISTIAN prayer. Not any other prayer...just a CHRISTIAN prayer.

So even though the people who actually wrote the Constitution did that very thing in the public arena, you think for some reason it should have been changed?

The government can't endorse a religion. Again, if it was a Muslim teacher having kids pray 5x a day, you'd lose your mind. Like other wrongs, some "rights" take time because people manage to convince themselves (often using religion as the basis) to do the wrong thing.

Atheists did get their way, and now use the schools as indoctrination Chambers.Â
Basically you are angry at Christians because you are afraid that they want to behave like Atheists.

That is the basis of it Brutus.....
Here is the paragraph that drives this entire discussion.....yet some atheist in Wisconsin is offended when a school in rural Alabama has prayer on the sidelines before a football game.

The gummint school cannot. You cool with 5 times a day Islamic prayers over the loudspeaker or before the game at your kids school? what does when a school does it have to do with the First Amendment? The first amendment is clear. Congress SHALL NOT MAKE LAW saying that schools must begin with a Christian prayer. Or a Muslim prayer. Or a Buddhist prayer. That's very clear.
But, Congress isn't involved in that rural Alabama school that the Wisky atheist tattled on, nor is it in Dearborn, MI where everyone is Muslim. Nor should Congress be. The Supremes took a button and sewed a vest on it when Madalyn Murray OHare filed suit.

Yah, they were wrong, but since 90% WERE christian, there was nobody to complain and generate a court case.

The wording of the Bill of Rights is clear and the men who wrote those words made it intentionally so. Their concern was related to the government creating/establishing a specific church like the Church of England. They would have arrested any judge who tried to do what our Supreme Court did.

The wording says that the government can't establish religion. Christian prayers in a government school clearly violates that.
