To confirm, you expected christians to be able to live by a different constitution and rules than all other Americans..... that was your plan to keep christians as the ruling class. The Constitution doesn't say what you want it to say. Unfortunately the USSC didn't like what it said either so they just ignored what it really said and created their own version.
Pre-USSC ruling, you wanted the government to be able to fire people for pushing their beliefs, but allow Christians to push their beliefs. So you think federal judges in Washington should control local schools? That sounds real libertarian.
When i say "government", I'm referring to the schools.
So, you wanted the government to be able to fire people for pushing their beliefs, but allow Christians to push their beliefs.

Yes, it does. And, again, if it was a Muslim teacher making her kids pray 5x a day, you would agree.
That Muslim teacher would probably not be employed in America as a school teacher or would be quickly fired for attempting to impose Islam on students in the sane Christian America that was destroyed.
Oh, so the Constitution only applies to Christians? What does that have to do with what I said? Schools and school districts were locally run back then. Zero chance they would have hired some aggressive Muslim to teach kids. And if they had accidentally done so, the Muslim would have been fired the next day and rightly so. Too bad you never got to enjoy a country or schools that weren't dominated and controlled by Leftist federal judges. Hightop does like a heaping dose of discrimination. The good old days, eh?  You must really be hoping for a reset, right. A civil war going to do it for you? Maybe a religious war? A race war?

Someone has to try to make sure the Constitution is upheld.
BTW, my question stands:

Because they don't support your opinion of what is right. However, clearly your plan, had SCOTUS not messed it up, what a "might makes right" idea, where Christians, because they're the dominant majority, can just steamroll everyone else, while continuing, for example, to indoctrinate children in public schools.

So....you are big government when it comes to keeping religion out of any semblance of public life, but hate the same courts who give cops the authority to search vehicles and extend powers there.

Because they don't support your opinion of what is right. No, because they very often ignore the clear words of the Constitution and instead rule based on their own political and social agendas. The Supreme Court has probably become the most dangerous and destructive entity in the country. The Framers would probably have taken many of these judges out and hanged them for what they have done.

I don't always agree with SCOTUS, but there has to be an entity to ensure that governments don't infringe on our rights. Are they perfect? No, but they're better than nothing. To me it's pretty clear that things like school prayer are unconstitutional. However, if SCOTUS suddenly lost their mind and decided to go back to allowing teachers to indoctrinate children with their religious views, it has to be allowed for ALL teachers: Muslim, Buddhist, Atheists Satanists, etc. Christians clearly want to rule the roost and be exceptions to whatever rules exist.
