Nike and another company cut him, too. All on an accusation. He might be guilty but it used to take a guilty verdict or admission of guilt.

I've read the texts. They aren't threatening but since the female said they were threatening, then it must be true. It doesn't work that way in civil litigation and hopefully AB doesn't settle.

I concede AB is not a good person. He's stiffed multiple people and is being sued for failure to pay and breach of contract. He's a narcissist, lacks integrity, and emotionally unstable... none of which means he's raped anyone or threatened anyone. There are no criminal charges, no police report, no rape kit... and yet his contract was ultimately terminated from an allegation of rape.

Zeke was railroaded by the NFL. The DA chose not to indict Zeke because his accuser changed her story multiple times and was caught asking witnesses and friends to lie for her to corroborate her story. The NFL had to save face due to the way they handled the Ray Rice case.

The NFL will rue the day they implemented this policy that gives credence to every allegation and every allegation must be investigated, regardless of what the legal system decides. Once the NFL starts an investigation, does anyone believe they'll ever rule in favor for the player? I don't. The alternative... conclude the accuser lied and the allegations were false... is bad optics and bad business.

Antonio Brown has been sacrificed just as Zeke was sacrificed...

I'll agree with that as long as what we see now is all we get. Clearly a narcissistic jerk but no substantiated allegations of substance against him for anything that matters. Those texts are probably milder than what I might of said to someone trying to pull some crap on me like that. I think if I was rich and/or famous I'd record every second of my life these days.

Patriots already had the jackgate scandal with the owner.   Signing Brown was icing on da cake.  They didn't need the issues and distraction.

His only chance at playing football is likely with a cellar dweller now.  I mean if he still actually wants to play.  He sure doesn't act like it.  Anyway, some flailing franchise will maybe sign him to fill a few more seats.  

I seriously wonder if the guy isn't mentally ill.  Of course that doesn't mean he's a rapist either.  On that note, the physical trainer chick is my favorite.  2 allegations, and then goes back a year later and another allegation.  Look, sweetheart, I may have been born at night...
