Smooth and I go back probably 10 years, to the old U of Arizona political board. That was when I first started posting on the old scout.com boards under my original screen name xCATSx.
Syncro also knows him from the Oregon political board. Oh well that explains a lot. A kitten. The worst fans in college football this side of Lubbock. Generic mascot. Generic colors. Years of failure. Shithole town. it goes on and on. What are you guys going to do now that the basketball program finally got caught? I knew there had to be some stuff going on. No way can you bring a recruit to Tucson and not have them head for the hills without some sort of pay off.

depending on where you look, we currently have the #6 or #7 ranked recruiting class in the country. So, what are we doing? Reloading.

They can play anywhere and go to the NBA. It never made sense that those players went to Tucson. They have nothing to offer there. Major turn off for any person much less the kind of guys that play ball. That's why the rest of your men's sports have such a mediocre history. Look at football. The program is more than a century long joke. So it was expected when they finally got caught for some of the cheating. Lute seems to have skated.
And the fans down there. Like a barrio gang party in the stands. Just an ugly experience for any visiting fans.

If you're a high school player, and you have hopes of going to the NBA, are you going to go to a school that puts players into the NBA virtually every year, or some random school?

C'mon they were getting paid. If they have the talent to go NBA it doesn't matter if they go to USC or the ooh of eh. There just had to be a reason for Lute to be getting those kids. I mean have you been to Tucson or an ooh of eh game?

It sounds like one the assistants was paying players on behalf of a shoe company, but there's no evidence that Miller was involved. The FBI investigated and found nothing with the allegations that Deandre Ayton waa paid.
It may not matrer2where they play but, if you're a college player and can play at a school that consistently puts players in the NBA, why risk it? You get one shot at college and then going pro.
UA has become a destination school in the west and have been for a long time and there's no evidence of paying players under Lute or Miller.

Syncro is his screen name here. Not sure if it was the same on the Woodshed.
There was never any syncro there so......

Could be a different name. He definitely knew you and others from the WS. I doubt the site owner here cross references user names to ensure they're the same across sites.

Hey, if the starter of the thread wants to get off track..... Neither here or there. I haven't seen any mods busting chops for for anyone diverting threads. But you also can't expect to do it because you created the thread and complain when another does.
