I didnâ€t read the whole thread yet, but I did read the OP. Speaking as a bonafide Appalachian, I am always amused by the characterization of my fellow rednecks. Itâ€s just yet another attempt to demonize and marginalize a fairly diverse group of people . Typical liberal broad brush slander of those from rural areas.

So instead of celebrating the diversity of people spread out over the Appalachian region, the author instead chooses to castigate these hardworking people as murderous thugs bent on retributive revenge.

Iâ€m quite disappointed that Pitchblack fell for such tripe.

I guess you are one of those Southerners who only kill people you know and the people you kill know why it's happening.

Yes, that describes me to a tee. And my whole family and all of the people we kill. We are taught this from birth, because our distant relatives hundreds of years ago raised sheep in the hills of Scotland and Ireland. We all accept this destiny and so do our victims.
