Scherzer picking up where Sanchez left off last night vs Card...1-0 Nationals in the 8th with 2 on and 1 out...Washington batting.  Scherzer with 1 hit.  Sanchez flirted with no hitter into the 7th last night.

Those were rare.   If you look at Cards team ERA and BA the Reds were right there statistically as a team.  RUNS batted IN?   There was the difference.  Ability to hit in the clutch wins games and Cards were better but it's biting them right now vs Nationals.
