No, it does not. Carry on...
It is unfortunate when a child is born with any kind of abnormality that is going to prevent them from living what most of us view as a normal life. I wouldn't want my kids to be born blind and never see the beauty of a sunrise or sunset. I wouldn't want my kids to be born with Downs Syndrome and never be able to live the kind of life that most parents hope for their kids.
I'm very confused by your confusion.
I'm sure you're confused... for some reason you think repeating how you personally don't want children with Down Syndrome explains what's unfortunate about the lives of people with Down Syndrome. I have yet hear what is so unfortunate about the life of a person with Down Syndrome.

It's unfortunate because you know what they'll never have. No sane person hopes for their kids to have downs syndrome.

I remember my grandmother telling me about a "Mongolian" kid that lived in her neighborhood. I was expecting Asian. Nope. That's what they used to call DS kids back in the day.

You are trying to apply the perspective of an atheist to people who might have an eternal perspective and it makes no sense to you.

Life on earth still exists whether you're atheist or not. And it doesn't mean the same thing to atheists and Christians with regard to most issues.

So, being Christian means not caring if your kid is missing limbs, has mental disorders or a lack of some senses?Â
I hope you don't travel door to door as an evangelist.

No, fool. It means trusting in the God you believe in, that there is some reason beyond your ability to understand that you have been placed in that situation. Faith isn't much if you only have it when life is easy, uncomplicated and prosperous. That is what Luther would call the theology of glory.

Trusting in God to do what in this case?

This is your obvious problem. You see God as a magic genie where people go to get their wishes fulfilled. For the Christian, the only thing he trusts God for is his eternal salvation. And that is the promise.

And creating children with abnormalities plays into that.......?
