Why are we so weird about peepees, weewees and whatnot?
If prostitution is legalized, human-trafficking and other related crime will decrease.
If large scale legal brothels were opened, I have no doubt that cartels and whatnot would engage in some degree of coercion/human trafficking to fill demand. In Germany brothels are legal, but the arrangements for many of the girls-mostly Easter European aren't exactly kosher.
I think you would see American born working girls being more independent/industrious under such an arrangement-like in the Old West, but Asian and Latino gangs would continue to exploit their own, as a practical reality.

Riiiight, because we all know sex slavery and human trafficking exists only because prostitution is illegal. Â

Is that the life I want to live? (Buyer or seller) Probably not. I can choose to participate or not participate. Why would I tell others what they can/can't do because of MY opinion? How would you feel if a person who supported prostitution FORCED their opinion on you and MADE you have sex for money?
Now wait a minute. Â You're saying I get to have unlimited sex AND get paid for it? Â What is this, Candid Camera? Â Alright, show yourselves.
The stigma of "having lots of sex just because it feels good and I want to" is a whole other topic of discussion. Somehow, along the way, sex became this holy shrine that can only be touched on rare occasions.

No. Those both exists regardless of prostitution. Neither one is an excuse for continuing to criminalize consensual business transactions between adults.

Amazing how the libertarian perspective is just basic common sense, not any grand overarching ideological worldview.

Yeah, open borders, a drugged out population, and preaching against big government when you don't really mean it, is just common sense.

I think the early progressives that resided in the GOP did a TON of damage to this nation. They were doing what they thought was right/correct via govt force, and boy did they ever open the door.

Yeah, open borders,
Not all libertarians support that.
a drugged out population,
aka: the right to do with your body as you please. yah, that's weird.

You also would make a great politician... just keep repeating a lie and hope that it somehow becomes true.

At the risk of sounding sarcastic, I believe sky diving and other high-risk activities are wrong, but I believe free people should be free to do those things, so long as they're not jeopardizing others. Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you. Make sense? Part of being for freedom means not standing in the way of others from living their lives the way they see fit, so long as their choices don't infringe upon you or others. Therefore, two consenting adults who want to engage in sexual activity, whether one gets paid or not, is entirely and only THEIR business and nobody else's.
